Dialogue Handover to Email

The Bildschirmfoto_2020-10-20_um_17.01.43.png-widget collects all of the user inputs which were recorded during the dialogue and sends them to a pre-configured email address. In this email, you will find a link that leads you to the dialogue information. There, all of the variables as well as the time of the conversation can be viewed.   

This is a configuration element, which cannot be seen by the user.

 

Here's how you implement a dialogue handover to email:

To implement this dialogue transfer successfully, you have to drag the widget to the desired place in the Story Builder. A message for the designated email can be entered through the «Introduction Help» window. This could, for example, be an instruction of what the person who receives this email should do with the data.

If a user entered information in a chatbot conversation, the input will be sent to the email address at the moment the user has reached this point in the conversation. The email that will be sent to the pre-configured email address will look as follows:

By clicking on the «Open Dialogue» button in the initial help window, you can learn about when the session took place, as well as any information that the user provided:
